When you turn the hot water on any faucet in the house you get good pressure at first then just a small flow after a few seconds and the water is hot. Replaced the pressure valve did not help. What could this be?

My brother in law has plenty of land in Jamaica. He's requesting some seed. I must mail everything to him in a barrel. I'm concerned about rose plants. Will they survive the trip to Jamaica?

Just curious as to what melting products won't damage my driveway. The driveway is about 185 ft long and I wouldn't like to see the price of having it replaced.

My well pump had quit, so my fiance installed a new one. Now, I can get water into the house, but after about 45 minutes the well pit is flooded and it kills the well pump. ANY ideas why it is flooding?

I want to refinish an antique oak dresser (early 20th Century) but I don't want to lose all the "age." The piece has not been exposed to moisture or extreme heat. It just seems to have been in the barn for a long time and most of the old finish is gone. Any ideas? Thanks.

The microwave is only 2 years old and matches the rest of our kitchen appliances (the Amana series) and it "works" when you turn it on. But it doesn't make the usual sound, it's a really low sound and heats everything very poorly. To replace it is about $500.

(We thought we had bought the extended warrenty on it, but it turns out that Home Depot screwed us and only put them on the other 3 appliances and not the microwave like we thought they did.)

I've recently had a new combi boiler fitted and so the cupboard that used to house my water tank is now empty. I would like some new doors for it but they are odd sizes (w36cm, H 111cm). Can anyone suggest a place for me to look that isn't too expensive?

i have a little bonzi tree, it doesn't look like a typical bonzi tree it looks like a normal tree with leaves only little.

i've had it for about five years and i moved recently and the tree got knocked and now it only have about half as much soil, i think that it needs a bigger pot anyways thought so can i just put it in a new pot or should it be professionally handled?

it looks somewhat like this

We have a jade plant that is top heavy. Last night the plant broke at the base. I've looked online, but there seems to be differing opinions on how to save it -- put the stem in water, or let it dry out.

Also I'm pretty sure that it was overwatered, and not pruned enough. We have since taken steps to correct that and it was growing beautifully (but with a nasty lean). Though I can't change these things, I would like to save this beautiful plant.

Any suggestions?

Just a random question that popped into my head. How many objects, not including lights, that run on electricity do we have in our regular homes?
