I recently installed a TV tuner card in my computer. When i disconnected my coaxial cable from my TV i got zapped. Whenever i touched the tv's coax input and the metal nut on the end of the coax i got a tingly feeling. I figured it was just because i rubbed my arm against the staticy front of the tv. When i touched my computer case while holding onto the coax cable i got the same tingly feeling through my arm. I was afraid to hook the coax up to the computer so i hooked it back up to the tv, and when the end of the cable came close to the tv's input a blue arc (like maybe a mm at most) shot across. I just tested the outlets and they both have an open ground even tho they are 3 prong. Why would the things zap me? Wouldnt the power only flow through the cable line (the new earth ground) if the TV and comptuter were leaking voltage and not sending it back to the neutral wire? I would say the TV line was sending voltage through the tv/computer but since they have no ground that cant be?

I plan to build a house on a field quite close to a future airport (5 km), and the field is oriented on the future flying path. I'm worried that the noise would be too loud when the airport will be functional. Can you say how far away is far enough in order to not be bothered by this? The airport will be quite big (it will serve a 300.000 inhabitants city). Thank you.

I moved to a home to which former owner left some gardening articles. Among the articles were several old opened bags of turf builder and weed and feed. They must be maybe 2-3 years old but in good shape, bags closed up tight. There is also some weed and feed loose in a bucket that I don't know what to do with. If I can't use it, I need to dispose of it but I can't just throw it away or pour it out on the yard or in the woods 'cause that's bad for the enviornment. Does anybody have a suggestions?

I've been using Dynamo, which I think is one of the cheapest you can find out there. I'm wondering if it cleans as well since my towels tend to regain their 'used' smell after only a short time using them. I always hang up wet towels to dry them, but it seems they get smellier quicker after each wash. I don't seem to have that problem with clothing, but the concept is the same...if my laundry isn't getting clean enough, do I really want to wear it?

Any suggestions aside from trying every detergent out there?

Do I just need to get a Michigan food license, and find a place (for ex., a church kitchen) to do my cakes out of? (or vice versa?) I do not have the means right now to have a seperate kitchen out of my home. Has anybody else done this? I have looked at the state of agriculture web site, but found it gives little information.
