it had some mould that wouldnt come off so bought a new rubber rim thing and not sure how to takethe old one off

the manual isnt helping
there were no instructions

I wouldn't even attempt a job like this I'm afraid I would have to get the yellow pages out and look for a washing machine repair person. I have a fab bloke that mends my washers and has done for several years. He is worth his weight in gold and charges very little. I got him from yellow pages years ago so if you can't get help with doing it yourself I would give the pages a try. Good luck.

Go to www.repairclinic.com and see if your style of washer is on that site, it has instructions usually on how to remove parts.
