I need to replace these horrific T-fal pots and pans I have! What are the best brands in Stainless Steel cookware? Thanks!

My room mate recently moved out, and I'm not planning on getting another one anytime soon. This leaves me with a spare bedroom in my house that I'm free to do what I like with, but I'm not sure what to do with it. A Library/study is a good idea, but I don't really have the carpentry skills to make it look great, and professionals are expensive. I'm a single 20-something, so something crazy like a pool table or game room or entertainment room is conceivable, but I dunno if that's the way I want to go.

So, any suggestions for me? And, out of curiosity, what would you yourself do personally (i.e., not necessarily what you'd recommend for me)

It appears that the community of professionals and the plain old gardner are at odds rather than a joint effort, and there seems to be a lot of ill will on a cut and paste effort. No one seems to pay attention to "Know your Source list it here" The CG clearly says they encourage it's use.

Whenever I use the dishwasher, there is an awful oder coming from the disposal. I've tried lemons and oranges in the disposal but I think it's the dishwasher. Anyone have a solution. I heard about using lemon kool-aid in a empty cycle, but I just dont know since I havent heard from someone that has tried it.

The light above my kitchen sink was fine for about 2 minutes and then it would dim and then brighten, it was not flickering on and off. Could the bulb be going bad? I believe the bulb is a Incandescent Reflector Light Bulbs. My house was built 1 year ago, and like all new houses there were problems, but never electrical problems.......any suggestions would be helpful

I have it narrowed down to three vacuums - and would love to hear some opinions about which one to purchase. I have read reviews on various sites but would like to hear a little more before I make a decision.
1. Bissell 3920 Pet Hair Eraser Upright Vacuum
2. Bissell 3760-2 Lift-Off Revolution Pet Upright Vacuum
3. Bissell 3760-1 Lift-Off Revolution Turbo Upright Vacuum
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help!

Is this a good idea to let them build the drain partly on my property. I am afraid the water will drain and sit in front of my home. Is this true?? Thanks.

I am concerned that the way the marble tiles are being installed will cause problems later (cracks in tile, splits in grout). They are installing it directly onto the plywood subfloor using a metal cheesegrater type material instead of backerboard. Can the subfloor support the weight? Will humidity be a problem?

This house is 90+ yrs old and it appears that I can look all the way down the wall from the attic. Is is possible to blow insulation from up there instead of drilling holes and having those nasty plugs on the outside wall ?

I have a driveway that comes from the street wraps around in front of our house, then connects back to the end of the driveway into the street. I drive in, go around in a circle then connect back to the driveway to go out into the street. My neighbor has a driveway that connects from the street, goes along the side of their house, back into the front of a large garage (that they don't use), but ALSO connects to our driveway so it creates a U shape back into the street. Basically I have a wraparound driveway, they don't, but because of a little section that connects the two, they think they do. They are using it to get back into the street instead of their own driveway. It snowed recently and I shoveled some snow on that connection to tell them to stop using our driveway, but they drove around it and into our section of yard that separates our houses. They plowed their driveway but stopped at the connection where they meet our driveway. But they still used our driveway. Help.

I also have put a water tube around it for about 3 weeks...it slowly drips on it. That tube is now empty. Currently the leaves have shriveled up and most I have pulled off.

I live in Charlotte, NC

Thanks

I use tide with bleach alternative already in the bottle. I use downy with a flowerly like smell, then i wash them on the regular cycle in my washer. As soon as it is done washing, i dry them 2 times on the damp dry setting for a total of 50 minutes. I've tried changing fabric softeners, nothing helps. The clothes don't smell bad, they just smell like fabric softener, but not a good smell.

You can only smell it right next to the shirt, not from far away.

How can I electrify my dog kennel with the chain link wire? I have a breeding billy goat that gets out of everything. After remodeling his pen 50 times I gave up and bought a dog run for him so he can't jump out or break out. He loves hitting his head and now hes stretching my chain link wire. How can I electrify this kennel like a electric fence so he will stop busting out with his hard head.
