It appears that the community of professionals and the plain old gardner are at odds rather than a joint effort, and there seems to be a lot of ill will on a cut and paste effort. No one seems to pay attention to "Know your Source list it here" The CG clearly says they encourage it's use.

Mr. Brown you have a point, but, NO ONE on the planet has all of the answers on any given subject, so if you read the material
and write it down then it's a whole new set of rules.

RScott/ LOL!... this wasn't for you, it was 2 others. Sorry 'bout that! (3) if you count me. I lost a BA because of a deletion. Then I had a question removed in 15 (?seconds) I have a troll in my space. I'm on my way to insanity with all of this.LOL!

You're damn right I'm angry but never with you "grannygrunt". I find your answers and associated links very helpful and they show you've done your homework, something I seldom have time for. My answers are most often just off hand comments from my own experiences both good and bad. What gripes me to the core is when the Twit cuts, pastes and plagiarizes an answer together and tries to pass it off as experience. Then, when someone challenges him, he assembles the same army of trolls he uses to amass points to violate them and intimidate this community. He's a spoiled brat and a forum bully. RScott

I don't really keep up with the battles on here but listing a source and cutting and pasting are two different things. Unless the websites give permission to reprint their information people should be cutting n pasting even if they link to the page they copied and pasted from.

People spend a lot of time creating content and making it available to us for free and when people just cut and past their content here it ends up hurting them in search engine rankings.

Are you talking about garden trolls? I think those things are tacky.

I notice it, too. Is it immaturity, insecurity, or just down right nasty?
