Over several years botanists who worked with grapes found that different vines produced product which had fewer seeds than normal. The seeds were then planted which developed vines which produced grapes. Some of these produced fruit with fewer seeds then others growing on the same vine, etc.until they developed vines which produced seedless grapes. Cuttings from these vines were grafted onto other grape root systems until there are huge vineyards producing seedless grapes.

Usually by soft wood cuttings and left to grow for a year or so until the are ready for the vineyard

They are planted with cuttings of an existing plant.

I thought that the seeds were lasered (x-rayed) from the actual grape...
