The Royal Empress tree (Paulownia tomentosa) also called the Princess tree, is considered a pest & an ecological threat by many because they can become invasive.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paulownia_tomentosa
It's on the "Least Wanted" list of the Plant Conservation Alliance's Alien Plant Working Group:
http://www.nps.gov/plants/alien/fact/pato1.htm
This invasive tree is not good for most of today's average size yards. It grows 10-20 ft. in one season & can reach 30-60 ft in height & 30 -40 ft wide. Just one tree produces 20 million seeds that germinate quickly. Getting rid of these seedlings has become a real ecological problem.
A more desirable tree for an average-size backyard would be a redbud or flowering dogwood.
Good Luck! Hope this is helpful.

you seem to be under the assumption that god has no desires or wants. god created the angels as perfect servants to understand him and to have as a bar or goal for his next creations. humans were created with free will, why you ask because if we were made with out it then our worship of him is hollow and worthless so yes god knew that putting the tree of knowledge there was probably to our detriment but only once we truly had a choice could the worship we give him be pure and precious. now the real question you should have asked is why does god desire worship. that's one the mystery's of god I would guess. the bible just says god wants it. I imagine if you or I were god then we would want that too. its the only thing of value when you know everything, created everything, and created time so you are outside its influence. the way I look at it is god created free will for results. he already knows the answer to those but the fact that results of choice happen at all pleases god I would imagine.

It depends on what you are looking for in a tree. They are can be a weed tree, and can be a little messy. I have one planted in my yard, and LOVE it. It is getting huge.
I live in zone 7a.
