I like being able to pay my rent week to week and being able to move with no deposit, and also have everything furnished. I am a college student so I just need a place to sleep, shower and study.

Leaves die and fall off the trees before the winter. Its usually the windiest time during the fall. As I'm raking I thought maybe leaves serve as a blanket for the grass during the winter snow. Maybe we're raking them too soon? Are there any nutrients in leaves benefiting the ground and grass? If left on the ground will they sufficate the grass? Anyone have any expert knowledge on this subject? :)

I have a rental property which used to have excellent water pressure. My tenant told me a few weeks ago that the downstaris bathroom was having some water pressure problems, but everything was fine upstairs. A few days she called to tell me that this is now affecting the whole house. There is almost no pressure at any tap in the house, either hot or cold water. There does not appear to be a leak anywhere. What could be causing this, and does anyone have any idea how much it might cost to fix. The home was built in 1976 in Middle TN, and is on a slab foundation. Thanks for any help.

I am really stumped. I can't figure out why when I press down on one side the other side bows upward. The old sink just slid into place with no problem. I used a level and it appears level. The old sink was the same length and it fits perfectly length wise. The new sink may have a very slight bow to it doesn't appear to be the cause. The old sink was smaller so I had to enlarge the width of the hole. The edging for the screws to secure it are now fitting below the counter top. So I think it should be a large enough hole now.

One specimen grew vines of at least 3 feet or more, however I think that it will grow alot longer?
The leaves look alot like poison ivy, yet this leaf has a sharp point at the end and 3 points on the sides with a vein running to each point. ( the points are not very large)
The new leaves are lighter in color.

The water travels down the pipe to the first floor, it sounds like the pvc pipe is hitting the wall studs. The noise is not from the fill valve or the incoming water pipe.

I flipped a switch in my office and the lights and outlets went out in a couple other rooms too. It wasn't the breaker that would be too easy. I used my tester and found that all of the outlets/switches that aren't working have juice to the neutral, hot and ground. It's also an old house so there is no common sense to what wires run to what devices. What could cause everything to be "hot"?

First let me explain our situation. I am a single mom of 2 kids, I have recently been put out of work for a herniated disc in my back. Our gas is due to be shut off tomorrow. It has been getting colder where we live(below freezing at night). I am looking for a way to temporarily heat part of the house until I can come up with some money somehow to get it turned back on. We cannot use the stove since it is gas as well. I just want to keep my kids warm. Any ideas that don't cost any upfront money would be helpful since we don't have a dime to our names. Oh yeah, welfare isn't an option, I've already been down there and have to wait for an answer that could take up to a month.

The frog is very noisey and 'tocks' all night, keeping me awake. I have tried catching it, but it's very fast and dives to the bottom of the pond. If I empty the pond, it will just come back. Are there any fish that would encourage the frog to leave home? How can I trap it and relocate it?

Putting in an external vent in my bathroom is not practical and although certain times of the year I use a small space heater, this is not enough to reduce the moisture to my liking after taking a hot shower. I'm looking for any alternatives to reduce the humidity and moisture in my bathroom.

Thanks in advance for all serious and thoughtful answers.

I'm looking into constructing a fibre glass tank, 8ftx4ftx4ft.
If I make a mould out of timber, then gel coat & laminate, will this size of mould release
Or am i better off constructing the tank out of ply then laminating the ply ,can i then gel coat afterwards, this is a one off project.
