The frog is very noisey and 'tocks' all night, keeping me awake. I have tried catching it, but it's very fast and dives to the bottom of the pond. If I empty the pond, it will just come back. Are there any fish that would encourage the frog to leave home? How can I trap it and relocate it?

when it gets cold, the frog will get very sluggish and go to the bottom of the pond. If you can find him without freezing to death, he can be removed and taken to a better place.

If you have water, they will come. I have several outside garden ponds. I never bought the first frog. They just come and took up. Its a peaceful sound, like you're camping on a river when they go to making their sound. At least i have no problem with them as they eat misquitoes and other bugs around.

Now that the temps dropped mine are silent and I miss them "tocking" me to sleep. They also make good guard dogs. If something approaches they fall suddenly silent and it's time to take the flashlight and a shotgun outside for a talk to Mr.**** and Mrs.Skunk. RScott

Put a net in, a large one. When you catch him take him in your car to another place. Let him out close to a pond.

I use a large aquarium net to catch and relocate them. My biggest problem is in the spring.

Pretend you're camping out and learn to enjoy the sound. He earns his keep by eating bugs and mosquitoes.
