One specimen grew vines of at least 3 feet or more, however I think that it will grow alot longer?
The leaves look alot like poison ivy, yet this leaf has a sharp point at the end and 3 points on the sides with a vein running to each point. ( the points are not very large)
The new leaves are lighter in color.

Perhaps it is Virginia Creeper (Pathenocissus quinquefolia). It is often mistaken for poison ivy, especially as a seedling. Once it matures it has five leaves, whereas poison ivy always has three.

It is tolerant of shade so should grow inside, but outside it will climb a tree 20 to 30 feet. It is known for it deep red coloration in the fall, and related to Boston ivy.

Sounds like grape ivy, or cissus. Take a look at this web site and see if this is your plant.

IT IS A MEMBER OF THE IVY FAMILY, BUT NOT POISON IVY. IT COULD BE A FORM OF ENGLISH IVY. DON'T LET IT GET TOO MUCH LIGHT OR THE LEAVES WILL TURN YELLOW.
