I have a succulent that's been a bit neglected lately. It's become shrivelled and spindly, but it's still alive. It hasn't seen any sunshine, water or fertilizer lately ... (I have since done all those things)

Will it make a full recovery with patience, sunlight and TLC? Any tips? I've pruned it a lot ... was that the right thing to do? Google hasn't been very helpful.

Questions: I am a disabeled widow of a deceased, disabeled veteran. I need help in form of grants so that i can replace the windows in our home. They are old, and I am a heart patient and freezing my behind off this winter tremendiously. So are there legal grants out there that would help us? thanks.

I just bought a trailer. I am a single mom with an income just barely enough to survive. I have about $50 dollars a month after paying bills. I need to know if this is something that I can fix or if I need to hire a professional. If I need to hire someone, how much will it cost me? Please help! My water bill was $184 this month its normally $50

There's got to be a way. I live in an apartment and we try to keep it nice to get our outrageous deposit back, but sometimes sh*t happens, like my boyfriend punching a hole in the closet door. I'm gonna try to fix it!
It's an interior door,so its made of that cheap stuff you usually see,but I don't know what it's called. It looks like it's two maybe 1/4-inch-thick layers of plywood? I don't think it has anything in the middle. The hole is only through one side, and the way it caved in makes it so I can't pull the material back level with the rest of the door. I can't pull it at all. I thought about cutting a tiny piece out on the edge of the hole so I can get behind it and push it out, maybe fill it with something so it'll stay and then glue it all back, but I don't have anything strong enough to cut through that material. What I do have is any kind of glue you can imagine(craft stuff)and other household materials. I can't afford the paint they used, but it's all still there in chips!

My dishwasher isn't working all of sudden. Does dishwashers have a fuse in the back? Or, do dishwashers need to be repaired or parts replaced by a technician?

I am going to be working in a part of a garage. 2 walls are cinder block, I will have to build another barrier and dampen that, and then sound proof the wood garage door. It doesn't have to be perfect, just deaden the sound in the room for recording and muffle it enough that it will not annoy the neighbors.
Thanks for your help!

I am often asked, " Are you using 'MY' towels?" As I see it, the things are in a cabinet that is in a bathroom I pay the rent on! I didn't know there was a difference between the towels in the cabinet! Have I missed something here?

I'm housesitting for my grandparents, and I'm supposed to take care of their plants. All the others are doing fine, but the aloe looks dead! Half of it is green and full, but mostly its brown and shrivelled! I've been watering it weekly like she told me to, but I must have done something wrong! Its just a little potted aloe, which I've moved into the kitchen for intensive care and gave it some more water. The stalks have bent and the bulk of the plant now lays on its side. Can I salvage this poor thing???

I replaced the flap valve and the seal so I don't think these are the culprits. Is there anything else that could be broken other then the flapper?

1961 RCA Whirlpool Stainless Cooktop
Works great, looks new
Pilots (2) are burning and appear normal--light and dark blue flame.
But this odor is really noxious--it's like I'm burning some bad diesel fuel or something. Nothing was boiled over, the stove is very clean. No changes. I've got a CO detector pugged in near--registering 0.0
We are leaving the external exhaust fan on low for now--ANY IDEAS??

Two holes were drilled for an alarm system that we took out, and they're about the size of half dollars. The other hole is about the size of a light switch plate. How do I fix them easily?

I would like to start grinding knives to earn a bit extra money. Being a former abattior worker I have experience in it but don't know whether I can adapt a standard 205mm Bench Grinder to do a good job. The wheel we used at work ran backwards and was approximately 400mm diam. Anyone able to help?

I had a house fire, I was told by the fireman that it started where the A.C was plugged in at. There was nothing else plugged into this outlet. So I was wondering what might of caused it. Then i started to think it was because the A.C was installed in a wall that was venting the A.C into a enclosed garage. The day the fire started it was about 110 degrees outside. Is that inproper installation? Could I be compensated for loss'?
