All of my circuit breakers just tripped. This happened right after the lights brightened (for a split second) and everything else shut down.

The only thing that is really going is the washing machine, refrigerator, air conditioner, laptop, and tv (flat panel). I have some lights on.

I reset all the breakers and I noticed all the light bulbs have "popped" out. Which sucks because they're halogen and those curly type energy saving bulbs and those are expensive.

I checked everything else and it works fine.
Is the utility company responsible for the light bulb damage?

My apartment is 4 months old so there is no bad wiring. I asked my neighbors downstairs and they noticed some strange power malfunctions at the same time.

Been looking around for a Nail Gun for Hubby for Christmas, but not sure what to buy. Sales people try to sell you on the most expensive. I want to stay under $100, but want a good one. Any suggestions?

I have to set a 4x4 post in my concrete patio in order to support a wooden gate. The hole needs to be dug adjacent to the corner of my garage. The gate will be 2 sections, each 4 feet wide and approx. 5 feet tall. I'm thinking that I can drill out the concrete with a mason bit and remove a circle of the concrete large enough to dig with a post hole digger. I would then set the post in new concrete. Is this logical thinking? Any suggestions?

I found this coat , but its missing a button (gray-its not flat either , its carved) and the lining is very ripped and needs replacement. Does anyone know where I can find replacement coat buttons (online all I can find is military/anchor style peacoat buttons) and how I can fix the lining (if I take to a dry cleaner/tailor, do I have to provide the fabric for the lining?) I really love this coat, obviously, and havent see anything like it the storee so I really wan tto refurbish it...plus the fabric its made of is heavy and good. Thanks in advance for any help!

My grass was a healthy green color until about a month ago. I don't own any pets and I live in sunny Los Angeles. Now it's turning yellow/brown and thinning out. I water every other day for 10 minutes. Why could this be happening and how do I fix it?

I need help arranging my livingroom, wich is oddly shaped and small. Here is a picture of my floorplan currently: http://www.freewebs.com/jennifaer/floorplan.JPG
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Myself and my husband would like to entertain some guests (at the moment there's only room for 1 guest at any given time). The bird cage is a glass exhibit, it is beautiful so it should stay in the living room. The entertainment center is where it is because that's where the cable outlet is. The table is small and seats four. The couch is a typical 3 seater. Flooring is carpet unless marked as tile. Please help me figure out a functional and somewhat open floorplan. Thanx!

It's similar to the red pipe with white turny thing at it's top, in the photo (link below).

Problem being, when I turn the white connection thingy, the red pipe just begins to twist with it and then gets to a stage where it won't turn anymore.

Got a new washing machine coming tomorrow but conditions are that the old one has to be disconnected... which I'm having problems with.

Thanks.
