We had a beige carpet in our old flat - it had small specks of browns and greys, but looked beige overall. It was fantastic quality and hid everything without looking 'dark'.

Not black, it shows up all kinds of lint and other stuff. I like the color like a french blue with a ripple of a lighter blue in the weave, and slightly green effect in the color.
