The water pulses out of the ground constantly worse when it rains. In my backyard I can dig down about 3ft in certain areas and find water. I live on the side of a small hill in the suburbs with a small creek at the bottom 100mt away. Im 6 to 800mt above sea level. Its not my water supply. Water tests show nitrates ammonium ph 5.6 & slight traces of fluoride. No one can tell me where this water is coming from or who can.

Sorry I don't have a scanner, so no pic is available. Its a leafy potted plant that seems to be fairly hardy (fingers crossed). Its a creeper I think. Well, I don't know what you call it but Its leaves grow down, and they can get pretty long. Its pretty common. You see them spilling down the sides of file cabinets in almost every office in the country. No flowers. The leaves have light yellow streaks on them.

Trying to find a way to spruce up my tiny living quarters, and any suggestions of plants you've had luck with would be appreciated. I realize the last 3 may not all be possible.

We have lived in our current house for 4 1/2 years, and the chimney has never been swept or cleaned out once in all that time. Last year I lit one of those creosote logs in the fireplace, but that is the extent to loosening the "stuck-ons" in the chimney.

I think I'm going to buy a chimney sweeper this year. How often should chimneys be swept? Any other advice?

I live in zone 5 and I planted a lot of evergreens over the summer. Do they go dormant in the winter or do they still need some type of care? Thanks!

Brands that come to mind are Onan, Kohler and Generac. If you can help me make an informed decision to purchase one over the other, it would be greatly appreciated. I just want to know why one is more than the other and they all generate the same power. Somewhat confusing. Thanks.

I have seen them repeatedly, usually in groups of five to ten, on my kitchen counter. I think they even infested my coffee maker so I had to get rid of it. No matter how well I clean, they stay. I have set out ant traps and they don't seem to be helping. Tonight I found them in my pet rabbits' veggie dish for the first time, which was my final straw. What can I do about them that will be safe for us and our bunnies? Thanks
