I reset it and it's working

bad thermostat or themostats. some units have an upper and lower stat. see if there is a red reset button at the stat. if so, push it to reset. if it turns off again, the stat isbad. about $200 dollars to replace both.

it's probably time to clean out the tank and replace the elements
peroidic draining of the tank is recommended to ensure the scale doesn't build up ...

If its 6 years old its probably not under warranty so if you can afford to I would have it checked out.

COULD BE SEVERAL REASONS. A TEMPATURE SPIKE, A WIRE SHORT, A VOLTAGE OVERLOAD, AN ELEMENT PROBLEM. IF IT TRIPS AGAIN YOU NEED TO HAVE IT CHECKED. IF ITS A WIREING PROBLEM IT COULD BE SERIOUS
