I have a lemon tree tht has little 1/4inch worms that tunnel through the leaves. The leaves start off with littl serpentine lines throughout them then they wrinkle up. The worms spread pretty fast. I cut off every single leaf from the tree and sprayed the bark with insecticide. The leaves came back and the worms came back. I scanned the leaf to show the animal. Go to picasaweb.google.com and search lemon tree leaf worm.

Ahhh, the joys of my autistic son. One day he took our dial foaming hand soap and dripped it all down our walls. We tried painting over it, didn't work. Then we tried the Kiltz primer, then painting and the soap stilled showed through with streak marks.

I moved into my apartment about a month ago and for the last few days i have been seeing roaches in my kitchen!!!
I am a clean person...Never leave food out, take trash out everyday...
I have tried the roach baits but they seem to not be working....
I have called my landlord and asked for my apartment to be sprayed but surprise...they have not came yet.
Is there anything i can get to make them die!!! and stay away?

I will installing a tub surround in a few weeks, but there is a problem. The existing tile rises 58" from the tub edge to the top, which is not the problem. The depth is 28" from the front edge to the corner, which is also not the problem. The problem is that the tile on the sides spills over the tub edge to the floor, sticking out from the tub about 3" on the wall.
The kit I am buying is only 58" tall and it will cover the height as well as the depth with no problem, but how do I cover that 3" x 13" area of extra tile? Do they sell kits that match the tub surround for covering such spots?

I got my dog a new bed and she came in after running in the mud and not only got mud all over my kitchen floor, but she jumped in her new bed and now its all dirty..
There are no cleaning instructions on it which I find weird.. So should I put it in the washing machine?
Its like a pillow but looks like a couch i guess.. It doesnt have foam in it or anything, and I cant take the fabric off. But it was $30 and i dont wanna ruin it ya know..
Can someone help me? I don't know if i should just shove it in the wash with towels or something..

i live in the UK and have always been burdened by my cooking smells that permeate throughout the house if i don't shut my door properly. having the back door open is fine, but if i'm cooking something pungent, say spicy food, or lamb or frying stuff, then my hair and my clothes is asborbed too by it..
i can spend upwards of £50+ but am wondering if it'll be possible to install by a layman, or does it have to be a qualified electrician thesedays?

all good answers appreciated, many thanks!

It was about an 1/2" spike... and about half of it has been knocked off... will the spike grow back??? or my orchid has to restart again??

*signs* It took me so long to get my orchid spike again.. now it is broken...

I am painting the baseboards and trim and I removed the quarter rounds to paint them separately and I want to reinstall them afterwards Problem is, once removed, the quarter rounds have nails in them sticking out that I need to remove, but I've been trying hard to pull them out, and they just won't budge. I tried clipping them off with a pair of clippers/snips and managed to get them almost flush with the wood (within 1/16 of an inch). Is this the right way to go about doing this or is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance!
