turn everything off and watch the water meter, if it's still ticking over then you have a leak somewhere. check all taps for drips, all visible water pipes for leaks, any damp areas in the garden which are wetter than others, could be an underground pipe that is leaking. investigate !

That does seem on the expensive side for just two people. I think ours is that for 2-3 months and we are a family of 4. Does you toilet constantly run? Do you run small loads of laundry instead of full loads? Do you run your dishwasher when it's NOT full? Long showers, water lawns all day during the hot weather? I would try to make small changes and see how it affects your water bill. Even turning the water off when you brush your teeth should help.. Taking shorter showers ! Good luck

That seems every expensive for a one month water bill. Trash pickup really differs from city to city. You may want to contact your local city / borough / county office to confirm what the exact montly cost should be for trash pickup.

How much water did you actually use though? That may or may not be a lot depending on how much the trash and sewer are and whether you have an irrigation system or not.

That does seem expensive. I have a pool and hot tub and my water bill is never over $50.

well you need to break it down
how much is just the water bill??
It does seem high, I think our bill runs about 50 for all.
its 15 a month for garbage and the rest is water and sewer.
but then how do you fight it?
ask your neighbors if theirs seem high for this month.

I spend less than five dollars per month so I would not like your bill.
