First - search for the National Do Not Call registry, and get your phone #s listed there. This will prevent sales calls for 5 years.

Second - tell the telemarketers to put your phone # on their "do not call" list. They are required to stop the call then and there, and not call you again.

Keep in mind that it takes a few weeks to get this info distributed to all telemarketers, so you may get calls for awhile yet. But every little bit helps.

Aside from the do not call registry & if you happen to take a call in the 5 week waiting period you could have a little fun with them.
Obnoxious telemarketers that keep calling back deserve a hang up.
Some people I know have said "be right back -someones at the door "& let them hang for a while
Or ask the caller for their "home" number so they can call back later
I just say no thanks..click.
Best regards

I know a guy who had the same problem and they would not stop calling after he had politely told them to stop and had lied to tell that the family was having dinner.

So one night, they called and he picked up the phone and his tone/voice was very sombre and said "Mark passed away yesterday, his parents are here and we are just putting the funeral arrangements together..."

The lady telemarketer was soooo sorry she apologized and never called again. I suspected she probably removed Mark's phone number from their list.

Me? I spk another laguage other than English, so once they called me, I just launch straight into that langauge and keep babbling! Well, let 'em try to figure it out!

I don't know, but I hope this inspire u to come up with something of your own that'd work and probably get them to apologize.

put your name on the do not call list....it will take a bit for the calls to stop, but they will.

second, put them on hold or just set the phone down and come back in an hour and hang it up.
