This seems to happen when grilling the stuff more than anything else.

Start baking your bacon on sheet pans in the oven ! Use a raised oven/heat safe cookie rack to elevate the bacon so it's crispy and the grease just drips off... If you have an exhaust fan use it or open a kitchen window while you are grilling. good luck

It means change your smoke alarms are working and don't EVER take the battery out of one. It makes me sick to hear of a fire related death because the battery isn't installed. Dying for 2 dollars or have them hardwired.

Turn on the exhaust fan on the stove or use a ceiling fan or change the cooking:) don't mess with those devices.

Just keep the door shut like I do. I have the same problem with mine, I dont take the battery out though as I would forget to put it back in lol.
Maybe try cooking the bacon on a lower heat for longer.

You can get smoke alarms that have a silence button on them we have one in our hall it does go off when cooking certain items, when it does go off we press the silence button and puts it in like a standby mode.

I believe if there was a fire it would override the silence button and go off as normal.

They cost only a few pounds more but worth the expence!!

**** NEVER NEVER TAKE THE BATTERY OUT LIVES COULD BE LOST******

Either try taking the batteries out, but remember to put them back after cooking, or try opening the kitchen window, and see if that helps

Mine used to go off every time I made toast. Try turning the fan on over the stove. Also when batteries are getting old, this can happen. Try replacing the batteries

Mine does that. I took the battery out but the frigging thing is connected to the mains. I cant make toast without it going off and everyone has to run outside in panic.

I have had this happen too . Tried moving the alarms... Not a lot different. Maybe too sensitive. Sounds like open plan where you cant shut a door.

This happens to me all the time too. I now turn on my ceiling fan and make sure my air purifier is on. Please don't take the batteries out though. That is never a good idea. Plus, if your house is like mine, I have mine wired directly so there are no batteries in most of them.

Taking the battery out won,t work if is hardwired like most smoke alarms these days.
Try putting a plastic bag over it. I have to do that as there is no door to my kitchen.
