I just bought a trailer. I am a single mom with an income just barely enough to survive. I have about $50 dollars a month after paying bills. I need to know if this is something that I can fix or if I need to hire a professional. If I need to hire someone, how much will it cost me? Please help! My water bill was $184 this month its normally $50

inside of your house at a hardware store you could buy a seat
for the facet and a seat device to take out the old one and to
put in a new one. the same instrument will do both.
the instrument and seat should be inexpensive.
on the second question running water sound with water outside of the house sounds like you have a bad pipe.
a plumber will probably have to repair that. good luck.

Replace the washer in the faucet, then go outside and listen. The sound means water is coursing through the pipes. You may have a leak somewhere else in the system if it persists.

The water lines in most mobile homes are made of plastic, I had a client that kept having problems with the water lines bursting. It was due to very high water pressure, I installed a pressure reducing valve and has not happened since.
