It is a very small room, really just a large cupboard, i am putting a tumble dryer in it but the one i have been given is not a condensing one so i need to do something with the steam. I know you can get the boxes that collect the steam and convert it to water but i am not sure where you get them and how good they are. Would getting an extractor fan put in the window work and how much would it cost? Could i just get a dehumidifier? Would that be enough. Suggestions please xxx

We got a mirror a few months ago that the company put masking tape on in a big "X." They ripped it off quickly, leaving behind bits and pieces (some big, some small) of masking tape. It has since hardened so much that Goo Gone and WD-40 won't even touch it. It's not like I can even start to peel any of it off, it's that hard.

What else can I use to take it off? Do I need to scrape it? Will that damage the mirror?

does anyone know how i should describe my decor taste? the best way for me to put it is: vintage tropical feel (unsure what era) w/ lots of off-white, pastels, and dark wood. i love the Kerne Erickson posters but don't want my home to look like a travel agency. i like for it to be classy yet laid-back and relaxed. any suggestions?

My house is 55 years old. The breaker box is probably just as old. I am having problems with my dryer and now my breaker box will not even let me turn on the breaker switch for my dryer; therefore, i am looking to purchase a new breaker box. Unfortunately i know nothing about what brand name i need and how many volts and amp i need so any advice on this subject matter would be helpful!

I was just wondering, if I were to pay someone to drywall this room for me, the whole room including the ceiling, how much would be a reasonable price to pay? Thanks!

I would like to wire in a chime to my existing motion sensing flood light. The idea is for the chime to sound when the motion sensor is activated. Any clues on what product to use or creative ideas are welcome and appreciated?

I bought plans off the Internet for a hen house so I'll have a better place to put my hens, but the plans have no materials or cut list and it assumes that I have some experience with building and construction. This is my first building project ever.

I've heard that plants respond well to being watered with cold tea. Is this true or is it a myth? How much tea, roughly and do the plants like it with milk and sugar?

We just moved into our house and called the water company to hook up our water, but when we go around the house to test the water nothing comes out. We checked to see that the water meter was open and it was. When we called the water company they said that there was water there. Help what do I do?

It comes off an old Sears gas boiler heating system model no. 229963640 (originally made by Dunkirk). I have found numerous 7021s on the Internet but nothing for 7021-5370 (it is a type U12B, 3150 RPM, 110v, case 0908). ANY help is appreciated as my house is COLD! I went to Sears but they want $214 so it is a no go there.

I called the local Fasco dealer and he could not find a cross reference number. I am at my wits end.

I teach in a very humid environment and I'm having difficulty getting the kids' name tags to stick to their desks with contact paper. I've also tried packing tape and that doesn't work either. I've tried cleaning the surfacewith Windex, wiping dry and then sticking on the contact paper, but that doesn't work. What is the best way to prepare the surface so that the contact paper will stick?

This is DIY project. Is it easy to run wires / cables through the walls? Or do I need to drill holes through studs to run cables through. I've never been in the attic to look down the wall.

I need it for my dorm. They have these scente sticks that you put in oil/ or liquid and the scent fills the room.
We/ I stink badly and I really wanna get this for my dorm because we cant use candles (fire hazard) and glad plug-ins are too expensive. Do you have any sites you can list?

I know they exist, they are not incense! You dont have to burn them.
