There were recalls on some Neptune washers. Check to see if yours were one of them . They took them back and gave yoku credit to purchase something else.

Sensible's answer sounds right...set the washer to cold water only and see if it fills with water to begin with. If it does, the inlet valve is not bad, it's probably something wrong with the main timer that controls the cold water valve or solenoid to open up during the rinse cycle. Neptunes are notorious for having many electrical probems as they are so complex. I'd buy a 100.00 used washer or get a free one on Craigslist.org and set the Neptune aside for when you can afford to have it fixed. Or run a hose from a faucet to the washer if possible and manually fill it for the time being.

Tina,Where the cold water hose conects to the washer ..unhook the hose (turn off cold water 1st) There is a screen inside the washer inlet.Check and make sure it is clean and not plugged with crap.(rust sand ect) Clean or replace , hook up the hose and turn cold water back on. I hope this solves your problem.

If it is filling properly, I don't think it is the water inlet switch or valve. Sounds more like a problem with the main control switch.
