Get some 'Goo Gone' or 'De-Solv-it' and use that, then wash the mirror with ammonia or alcohol for a 'streak free' shine. DO NOT use a razor blade to get anything sticky off your mirror ... and it may take SEVERAL applications that you can 'leave on' for an hour or two then clean off, re-apply, and clean off again to get it all. The reason the masking tape isn't coming right off is BECAUSE it's dry, and to get it off, the chemical you use has to 'seep under at the edges' since masking tape is 'water and chemical proof' ... sorry, but if you don't think the Goo Gone is going to work, try using De-Solv-it ... that has orange oil in it, and that orange oil can 'penetrate' some things that Goo Gone and other chemicals can't, so it works well. You'll have to use more ammonia or vinegar to get the De-Solv-it OFF once you've removed the tape, but your mirror WILL look better, I'm sure.

Use window cleaner (the ammonia will loosen the glue) and a new razor blade so you have a good edge that will not scratch the mirror. Heavily spray soak the areas that are affected let soak for an hour repeat two or three times. Then spray the areas as needed as you scrape the tape off the mirror. This works well on any type of glass and with removing paint paint as well.

A scraper with a blade that is designed for taking adhesive off of glass should work without scratching the mirror. It's too bad that the mirror will not fit in the microwave. That would soften up the masking tape and make it easy to remove.
It may be too late now, but what you should have done is to complain to the company when the mirror was delivered.

If you can lay it down on a flat surface where it cant fall. Mix dish detergent and warm water. You want the mix really soapy Soak the mirror for a few minutes just pour mix on mirror. After awhile use a Scraping razor , you cant find them in stores like Home depot and such even Wal-Mart.
Slowly and EVENLY scrape the mirror in one direction only. Make sure the mirror stays very wet while you scrape. You do not need much force but you do need the blade to stay flat take your time, this is something you don't want to rush on.
Do it for a living sorta.

Have you tried dampening the tape and steaming it. This would reactivate the glue behind the tape and might allow you to peel most of it off. The rest could be gotten off with the Goo Gone. I wouldn't suggest scraping as this will probably ruin your mirror. I bought a little steamer at Walgreens for about $13.....I bet that would work. Good luck!

use a small razor blade. And go very slowly. It will be hard to scratch it though, but just to make sure. Finger nail polish remover might work as well. Oh yeah and i read somewhere that dryer sheets help as well. Magic erasers too. Magic erasers are the best and should be able to get it off. I would be pissed though if it was me and the company left it like that. I probably would have clled and complained. They know better.

Depending what type of adhesive it is, some will come off with rubbing alchol, some with cooking oil. If one doesn't work try the other.

use denatured alcohol. they should have never done that with the tape.
use the alcohol work it with your fingers if you have a new razor, scrap short swipe and clean blade often, be careful. a razor will scratch if it has a build up of any kind. also no kitchen cleansers or any thing with amonnia. amonia eats the silver on back
