As stated I live in Guatemala and have a toilet clug. The pumbing system is not an American "S" shape and a snake will not work here. The plumbing has a 2 inch opening. I have tried the plunger, bleach and just giving it time to break down; nothing works. Is there a chemical drainer that will work? My plummer is afraid to use a "liquid drainer" type of solution, because he says it will melt the PVC piping. Is this true?

what is a good reasonable tool list, that is most of what you need in your tool belt for rough frame construction. Without getting it too heavy.

Sorry for the terrible wording!

I have an old glass top patio table that is quite an eyesore. I wanted to paint the base black and glue some of those flat marbles onto the top of it. But I would still like to be able to set drinks down on it without them falling over.

What would I use to glue the marbles down since it is a very large area and its going to be exposed to the elements?

Also is there anything clear I can slather onto it or pour over it after I get all the marbles in place to make it a smoother surface?

I would like to keep it clear so that the light can shine through it...

but do you think if I glued the marbles down and then grouted over them that the marble would still be clear all the way through to the bottom (like little windows)?

And can I even use grout around the marbles over the glass table top??

The wires are from an older light fixture. The wires function perfectly, but when the last light was removed, the wires were not labeled. Since the wires are older, their jackets are the same- off-white. I own a tester, but not sure, how to use it to identify the three types of wires- hot, neutral and ground. The wires are in three groups: one of three, one of two and one by itself (which I suspect is the ground). When I connect the tester to the group of three and two, it indicates power, regardless of the group of wires the tester prongs are touching, but that still doesn’t help me identify which is hot/neutral/ground.

During the week, I work 60 hours so my place becomes a disaster because I don't have the time or energy to clean up. I just throw things on the couch when I come home and I go to bed because I have to be up in 5 hours. My place is not dirty, just really messy with tons of clothes, papers, a few dirty dishes and what ever is on my couch piled up. I know sitting on the computer is not helping matters. I know I need to clean but I'm also trying to put it off because I just don't know where to start.

The first year it did well but the 2nd and 3rd year it lost its leaves in September. After researching this, I believe that when I planted it I set it in the ground too deep. I placed the ball close to a foot below the ground level. Is there anything that I can do to save this tree?

They say that he uses his staccato pecking to attract a female's attention.
He pecks and pecks and pecks at my home, at 5 a.m. in the morning!
How this bird can be so exasperatingly stupid: what female will
listen to his staccato at five a.m.! And will try to interpret it!
How can I make him understand that it's not the best time for
attracting females, and that my house is not that good a resonator either, but there is that hollow tree miles and miles away from here, in the woods, where there will be heaps and heaps of female woodpeckers, rather than here?

one bathroom and small laundry room. I am in canada and the winter gets quite cold and as a result the electric bill to heat my place becomes a little expensize. The place has electric heat with heaters in all rooms. So I was wondering: 1.)How can I go about saving electricity in this place? and further 2.) would buying a small "convection heater" or similar, and using that instead of the electric heaters here be better?
