washer will not agitate or spin. triac appears to have broken up. piece on top the chip is blown away. how do I find a replacement without the number?

Triac are just an electronic relay no moving parts.They do exploded some times from an overload of what there trying to energize a motor , heating element etc.It is advisable to just buy a new board and before you install it check any thing that board operates. Because if there is a bad part that the board operates you just cooked a new broad. Parts houses have policy of no return of electricial and electonic parts.

Try describing the size, shape of the device, and lead arrangement. Any mounting holes. What voltage does the washer run on?
