Pros and Cons Please. Preferably with people with Many children and pets.
Does it hold up?
Does it always look like someone has been sitting there (Like carpet that's just been vacuumed and then walked across)?
How long does it repel stains and/or liquid?
Any other Information that would be helpful.

I know this is a really dumb question, but my mind's gone blank. What is that stuff that farmers put on their crops to kill bugs and all that junk? It starts with a 'P'.

My children were playing in the backyard when I noticed the smell of gasoline. I imediatly went outside to find that the two older girls (3 and 4) were pouring gasoline out of the gas can to the lawn mower. They had gotten it on themselves and on my grass. I put the girls in the bath and now I'm worried that the dog steped in it too. What I need to know is 1- will the gas ignite under my dryer vent and 2- how do I clean it out of the grass for the dog 3- is my dog safe in the backyard while the gasoline is still fresh (he loves being outside). Only serious advise please.

I recently had vinyl siding installed on my house. Guys wrapped tyvek and added blue insulation first. Then they put mounting plates in the appropriate spots and hung all but one light for me. I got a new light and found they only left a black and white wire extending through a small hole in the foam insulation for the light. Do I need to worry about grounding it? I have an older house with bx, no ground wire. How about all the rest of the lights and floods they installed? I assume they did them the same way.
Thanks.

I've plunged it to death, thru rid x and also vinegar, baking soda w/cold water....nothing has helped. Also, tried snaking it and sticking my hand up there...nothing.. I go to flush the toilet, it just fills up with water and begins to overflow. Any help would be great, before having to pay that expense of a plumber, especially where I live....thanks

I bought a used water softener from Habitat for Humanity. I am going to have it put into my home. We have copper piping, and I wanted to know how would I know if the water softener I bought from Habitat is working properly once setup? Will I have some type of indication at all for this? I am very new at owning and home so I know nothing about them. Help!

Hi...
I am trying to buy something for my husband, but I don't know what they are called..... can you help?

These stand were around a few decades ago, and I am looking for one.
It is a peice of furniture. It has (almost like a coat hanger) arms at the top for mans suit jacket, and just under that is a pole that goes across for pants to hang over, and down lower there is a seat or a ledge for mens shoes etc.
Can someone please help and tell me what they are called (and if anyone has seen one, where you can get one from)
Thanks for you time!

I started to pull out the weeds and discovered that there is no sidewalk there (just a bunch of broken up sidewalk). So no there is a big hole. So I put the weeds back afraid that someone would trip in the hole (i didn't pull it all out) So I have a couple of questions

1. Did the side walk break up because the weed started growing or because it broke up the weed had dirt to grow into

2. Should I pull up the grass and weeds growing into other cracks because it keeps the rest of the side walk level?

3. I want to keep the sidewalk in the best shape that I can. How do I do this?

during the summer the arbs were a perfect emerald color, and now that fall is here, they look kinda dull and a little rusty like, but mostly green. is this because its fall and the weather is changing.
