I bought cookware from Fingerhut about 15 years ago and hated it. It always got too hot and burned the food. I am sure they have improved over the last 15 years, but I would be careful. I have a set of Cook's Ware from J.C. Penny which is the best cookware I have ever had. It is kind of expensive but I absolutely love it.

I bought some oven pans from Fingerhut many years ago, and I wasn't very satisfied. The non-stick finished peeled off. I think Fingerhut is overpriced anyways.
A couple of years ago, I was driving past an outlet mall on the Interstate. I stopped and got a stainless steel cookware set for under fifty dollars. It's wasn't anything fancy like Rachel Ray uses, but it was good and sturdy and nice looking. It's done a good job for me and held up nicely.
I looked on their website but I did not see the exact same set. Here are their cookware sets though. I think the Wearever set for $63 is pretty close.

Oh Sweetie, PLEASE take the advice of the others here and go somewhere else to get your cookware or anything for that matter. Fingerhut works by getting people hooked by thinking that they are only paying a small monthly payment, but that payment can go on for years. As the others have said, their quality isn't what you think it is either. When I FINALLY got them paid off almost 20 year ago, they were sending me the larger stuff books and I sit down and wrote them and told them they could save their money and stop sending me their books, because I wasn't ordering from them again and would you believe that actually listened to me and stopped and I haven't got one since.........

Stainless steel is pretty but it's really not the best heat conductor so it won't distribute the heat very well and will tend to burn more easily than a better conductor like copper or aluminum. Copper is probably the best heat conductor but it's really expensive. Aluminum is next best and comes "hard anodized" which makes it extremely durable. A lot of stainless pans have an aluminum clad bottom, which helps to distribute the heat on the bottom of the pan, but doesn't do much to distribute to the sides so you still get uneven heating and it's easier to burn.
Sets of hard anodized aluminum pans are available at department stores and discount stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls for reasonable prices in brands like Emeril, Rachel Ray, KitchenAid, Cuisinart and Calphalon. They are plentiful in individual pieces too that can be picked up over time to add to your set. My set of KitchenAid pans (plus lots of extras) is great. Despite doing lots of dumb things like forgetting the pan is on the stove :), I rarely burn anything and have never scorched a pan to the point that it can't be restored to like-new with a good cleaning.

Hello Atinuke, Sometimes they do. I think many different cultures have some tendencies to be rather jealous and protective of their women or vice versa, their men. Some white men often feel the same about their women going out with black guys. Also I have heard comments, murmurings as well as getting a few dirty looks when I have been with ladies from the Middle East, Asian or Latin American cultures as well. Cheers, Michael Kelly

goto wal-mart they have the same thing fingerhut has, only cheaper,
brand name cook ware is like buying a hammer at sears, for $30, and going to lowes and finding the same hammer for $5,
what it is made of matters not the name,
