the best time to apply a pre emergent in texas is in early spring or late winter usually in february or march if you apply it to early you wont get any results and if you apply it too late you dont get any results

DO NOT USE CHEMICALS they are harmful for you your pets and your children put down a product called corngluten meal it is an organic weed killer and fertilizer apply in the spring and get it at a good organic nursery
