i have a MAJOR gopher problem... and DO NOT tell me to go to a pest controller... i need to know where to get them and how moch they cost.... i think it would be alot cheaper and quicker... thnx

My sofa/loveseat are an olive green color, but not too green, it has more of a grey undertone to it. I want a wall color and a accent color. My dining room/kitchen is a light sunflower color and the columns are painted olive green so I wanted to try and tie in all the rooms... Can anyone help me???

In my directions on replacing it it says to shut off the gas at the main valve beside the hot water heater. I've located it, but am unable to turn it off. I know this may sound stupid, but is it completely necessary to turn it off before I replace it?

I got some flourescent light fixtures for free and they are for a hospital that is wired for higher voltage for the lighting than 110v.
The voltage on the box says 277 volt, but I think this is that they are rated up to 277, but made for 220 volts wiring.
Do hospitals use 220v for their lighting?
Is there a way to find out more about these light fixtures to be sure I wire them correctly?
I want to wire them to use as indoor lighting for a house, and will wire in a 220 breaker, but need to know if i am right about the lights and the voltage rating for the wiring.

Any advice is helpful and if you are an electrician, leave me an email or a website to learn more or to ask more questions.
The light fixtures are brand new and never opened and they were just throwing them away.

I have multiples, I want to wire them in parallel fashion to a 220 breaker in an existing house panel.
Am I right, will this work?

It has been turned into a four unit apartment house and we would rather use it as a single family by restoring as close as possible with a little upgrades to its original floorplan.( if there was only one bathroom it WILL be changed) It is currently four one bed one bath units. what city office or possible site could i find those plans

we installed a huge bath tub,6foot by 4 foot...and about 20 inches deep....3 bedroom house,1 and a half baths,3 people living in thehouse (one is a teenager),how big of a hot water heater do we need? i am guessing this new tub is about 150 to 200 gallon tub?

I have problems from all directions, like in health, wealth, even just peace of mind. So i was told about this that since my house front door faces south and i don't use my side garage door that i am unlucky because the door i use doesn't face north or east. My side door faces west. Does any of this can make my life bad.
