Never heard the term relating to electricity. Maybe I can learn something. Someone answer this question.

Oh I think you meant electric potential. This science gets a little deep for me. Maybe someone can explain. The only thing I can think of is the gravity.

Duh now I see what you mean as Voltage as pushing the current through any conductor. I know voltage as the push but never consider it pressure. That's a slang term. NOT a technical term.

When compared to water, water pressure is like electrical voltage, it's how much "push" there is.

Water flow is like amperage, a measure of the amount of flow.
