Ok i bought a VFT and i did my research b4 i bought it. but i still got a couple of questions...

i live in long beach and i have it in a plastic container with another plastic container over it to keep in the humidity and the there is enough room for air to go in an out(the plastic is thin and clear) and i have it in Sphagnum peat moss and pearlite.

question one
do i need to buy green moss for the surface layer or is this ok.??

question 2
can i leave it in there (there is enough room for it to grow) or do i have to move it from there?

how can i make a terrarium?

question 4
on this container that i have it i take it out side to get sun light. but i don't know if i should put it in the shade or do i have to put in under the sun or just enough for sunlight to hit it but not literally under the sun??

how can i make my own terrarium? where can i buy one?

question 6
what temperature does in have to be in the "dome/container?"

Carpet grass has infiltrated my flower beds, how do I get rid of it w/o killing my plants?

I've been looking/asking all over and I have yet to find or hear of a method that works best. So far, I've laid out the rat poison and my landlord just gave me those electronic emitters. Any other suggestions????

It started happening during the summer of this year. There are these little flies that hover around my room and I dont know where they are coming from! I havent had fruit or food in my room in months, so I know thats not whats causing them. I also seem to notice them when Im sitting around my computer, they always fly around it.

:\ Whenever I kill one, its like another one appears an hour later. Theyre annoying me! What the heck are they and why wont they go away? :((

my fiance and his friend got drunk saturday 2 weeks ago and made some orange juice in our blender and drank it. i told him since he made the mess while drunk, he was cleaning it up. he of course thought i would break down and end up doing it because i would get tired of seeing it sit there. well 2 weeks later, its still there and i looked in it today and there was little specs of black mold all over the blender. is this harmful? how should he clean it now?

I was bathing my child in our rented home and I noticed that a mushroom was growing out of the wallboard!! It was popping out from under the tape that attached the wallboard to the small very old tiles that line the bottom third of the back of the bath. My landlord said that he would pay for the materials if I did the work. Is it doable? I am a novice, if that. I looked everywhere online and found no directions. Please help!! Thanks

We have seemingly zillions of spiders on the side of our house around our door and then on our garage. While I know they have merit as bug eaters and such, they are also moving into our porch, which is too close for comfort. We have a one-year-old, and I'm concerned about spider bites. She's sensitive to bug bites as it is.

If anyone knows of a good natural repellant for spiders, please let me know. Otherwise, if there are any other repellants that work, I'd like to know about those, too, as a last resort. A shoe seems to work, but I'm way out-numbered. LOL

This would be a very small pump to be used in a table top fountain. I want to use it outside, so it must be completely battery operated. I've tried looking around online, but have only found wired pumps or already assembled fountains. any suggestions?

I have never been in an ikea store but I just looked at a catalog and most of the items look pretty cool. I did notice that they say you must put most of the items together yourself so that made me wonder about the qualtiy of the furniture. I was recently watched the 1961 movie El Cid, which was filmed in Spain, and saw the strangest trees I have ever seen. They had tall spindly single trunks and their foillage sat on top like a puffy cotton ball. Halloween is kinda a big thing around here, everyone likes to decorate and get dressed up. It's just a fun time and I was thinking about what I was going to be and I had the idea of Alice in Wonderland. I always make my own costumes but never really sew anything. I can sew small things but nothing more. How would you go about this? I'm not sure that I would have a blue skirt but I do have a light denim one . . . any and all help is appreciated!

Yes, I was able to tear myself away from polls and surveys long enough to start fall house cleaning. I have been scrubbing with detergent and a tooth brush to no avail. I know these little buggers can really make you sick so I really want to get them off! Thanks in advance if you have anything to offer.
