Six feed under, eh?
It is possible to do this yourself. I have, but it took more than one day and I felt a sense of accomplishment once it was done. I have a bad back and it took a few weeks to recover, though
If you want it done immediately, hire someone who can bring in machinery and finish it much more quickly during the later part of the day. It was dark by the time the hole was finished and, since we were expecting rain, my neighbours all understood why I wanted to get the quick dry cement in the ground that night. Everyone knows that is is a good solid base for the hot tub that was to be delivered the next day. :)

Rent a backhoe under a pseudonym. And bury the body wrapped in plastic with lots of lime and coffee grounds to cover the smell.

A coworker gave me this idea. Instead of a hole, build a cinderblock wall. Just cut up what you're putting in the whole, and mix it with the cement. Much less likely to be discovered.

heavy equipment would be best but in the middle of the night might be too noisy and wake the neighbors! That might raise some questions of concern!!!! It can be done over night as it has been done many times in these umm...situations! You just have to be persistent! and drink lots of coffee

I'm afraid I can't help, I'd be a witness therefore you'd have to make an even bigger hole

That sounds like too much work for one night. You might want to try renting some digging equipment.

I see, so you offed him. Not good. Never know what the soil is like till you start digging, could be all rocks. Might take awhile .

I'd recommend buying a woodchipper and some garbage bags first. The good kind, *not* store brand!

might be easier to lay a new patio, that way you won't have to dig so deep
