Halloween is kinda a big thing around here, everyone likes to decorate and get dressed up. It's just a fun time and I was thinking about what I was going to be and I had the idea of Alice in Wonderland. I always make my own costumes but never really sew anything. I can sew small things but nothing more. How would you go about this? I'm not sure that I would have a blue skirt but I do have a light denim one . . . any and all help is appreciated!

With all due respect have you ever viewed the Disney Version???

I have; a hundred or more times with my daughter.

I recall Alice having at least ONCE,,, a pale blue dress with some form of an apron, with scallops? Yikes why am I even answering this? LOL.

The DRESS was probably a V or Boat neck, with the embellishments in white lace or whatever, such as frilly or flouncy collar and maybe on the ends of SHORT sleeves.. The apron was designed as a metaphor for her REAL life versus her wandering into dreams.

i did that final year, cept i called her "malice in wonderland". it become beautiful because of the fact i dressed my son up because of the fact the white rabbit. i took a french maid outfit, and converted it into the gown i mandatory. i had cool tights with spades, hearts, diamonds, and golf equipment on them. i wore a black wig with a heart ribbon in my hair, and had black footwear. my makeup become undemanding, yet a splash gothic looking. this is beneficial to hold something like a knife. this is beneficial to kinda misery the gown too. perhaps placed some rips in it. if it has a petticoat, maybe enable the dissimilar gadget or besides the fact that it used to hold down, from below the skirt. stable success and have relaxing!

blue dress / skirt & blouse, white apron, blue or black shoes, light stockings, black ribbon in your hair. it would be pretty easy to buy all of that.

(or you can go "risque" like the first links! bomchickawaawaa!)
