Okay guys I really, really need some help. A while ago, my little sister placed the kitty box in the jacuzzi bathtub, and now it has a clog. Long story short I have tried Draino and other liquids to undo it but nothing's worked. Now we are moving out, and I have been reading other questions like this asked by other people and I am praying to God that there is a solution that is not so drastic. Is there any sort of chemical or other thing that would dissolve it? Or what is this snake thing I read about? Please, please help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just discovered a puddle of water in front of my freezer. I opened it, and all of my food has defrosted. The ice in the ice box has melted and everything has condensation on it and I'm afraid my food will spoil if this keeps happening. Here are some details:

the freezer has been making short but frequent buzzing noises.
my fridge is an Amana® Side-By-Side Refrigerator
ASD2620HRW

My parents just increased the coldness of the freezer from 4 to 8 to see if it will work. Is my freezer not working at all or is the temperature messed up?

We have a mouse problem. Have had since about May. Every time I think we have the last of the little buggars, I find more droppings. I'm almost tempted to call in the pros, but here's my delima... I have two dogs that we feed in the kitchen. We put there food in the garage at night, but I'm afraid that a pro is just going to tell me I'm fighting a losing battle. What do you guys think... is there any hope?

So long story short.... I vomited on my wall the other day and it looked freakin sweet and i wanna keep it on the wall. Any ideas on how i can "seal" it so that it won't rubb off. Also anything that may hide the smell would also be helpful because as cool as it looks.....it smells like crap.

Do you know what to do about damaged plywood floors? Can he cut out damaged areas or does he need to replace the whole floor? Or is it possible to just go over the original plywood with new 1/2" plywood? Orkin says he can just go over it. And do the homeowners have to worry about it if they want to sell the house in a couple of years? Do they have to disclose the fact that they had termites?

I just moved into a new apartment near the woods. I have seen several centipedes and spiders in this sort period of time. What are some ways I can get rid of them? I've heard placing mint oil in the room works but have not tried it. Any ideas?

We put in a hot tub that the electrician was supposed to put in a dedicated 110 line. He said he did. The motor in the hot tub is going and the hot tub people said it's because the line is not dedicated. How can I test this to see who is correct?

Someone gave me a wooden hope chest that was upholstered all around. It needs re-upholstered and I don't know how I'd go about re-upholstering it. Any clue? I was going to buy one of those industrial strength staple guns to use but I didn't know if that was how it was supposed to be done or not.

Please help me, Billy and I have a caramel/butterscotches leather living room suite. Our house is small and we are looking to paint it so that it appears larger. I don't want to use a dark color which has been suggested with this color before..is there a lighter alternative so I can compliment and still get the feel of a larger living area"

We just moved into a new house in NH 3 months ago and I know to expect a certain amount of "tenants" when a house has been vacant for many months.

But in the past 2 weeks I have seen 3, large, threatening looking spiders and one has been able to elude me and is hiding in my baseboard heating. How can I best keep the baseboard heating clear of creepy crawlies and how do I get this one out now?

My concrete dock has been undermined by wave action and there's a huge area underneath with no rocks there. It's the front side, facing the water that needs repair. Apparently, the bottom part was filled with rocks, then the conrete was poured in. The top foot or so is solid concrete. The water level is quite low right now, so only about 8" would be under water. I'm planning to put more rocks in there to help fill the space. Is this going to work, or would I be wasting my time and money?
