Today while hiking on our land we found some yellow tomato-like plants. They are growing all arount the rocks we had placed for our fire ring, and a couple were growing out from between the wood stumps we placed to sit on when we have a fire.

All down the stalks. and down the back center of the leaves are thorn-like protrutions. Really, more like fine cactus thorns.

I cut open the fruit, and it appears like a yellow cherry tomato, however the smell is more fruity, almost perfume-ish. The fruit is also much more firm than you would expect a tomato to be.

I've looked through all my books on wild Missouri plants, but cannot come up with anything.

Any clue would be appreciated.

They are just three consecutive circles of different sizes. I want a clean cottage look in my kitchen. I have natural hickory cabinets, rock gray slate tile, marble countertops, and light gray walls. If I paint them at all it will the color of the walls. Otherwise I will leave them ceiling white.
One other point. All fixtures in the kitchen including the lights are brushed nickel. Would gray look good under my brushed nickel lights or would it clash?

I bought a fairly nice screen door from Home Depot for $209, but it does not seem to fit. I had a handyman install it and it has about a 1/4" gap on the top and bottom that is open to the outside; this won't work. The handyman seemed over his head as it took him 3 hours. Shouldn't these fit as they are standard size? Should I buy a different door or call a door business to fix it?

I have a stella cherry tree, a meyer lemon tree, a dwarf avocado tree, and a washington navel orange tree, each is ea 5 gallon in size. I want to plant them in my back yard, but do not have that much room in the side of the house. I have about 25 feet lengh by 9 feet width, I bought root barriers for the width since I don't want any root problems in the future. What is the minimum space between the trees I should plant them, and in what sequence should I plant them? Thank you.

In science we have to show how different liquids are less/more dense than each other. So we have to find liquids of different densities and put them in a bottle to show how they will layer. Any suggestions on some household liquids that will layer?

I think water, baby oil, and mayonaise will but I want something that has defined colors.... any suggestion would be great.

Thanks.

HELP! I need pillbugs/roly poly/armadillo bugs PRONTO! Well, not pronto, but by tomorrow morning at 6:30! They are the little bugs that roll into a ball when you touch them (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pillbug). I need them for my AP Biology course...thanks!

If you could give me advice as to how to attract them, it would be much appreciated. 10 points and my eternal gratitude to the one whose suggestion yields the most bugs!

Our living room has a brick fireplace. The previous owners painted it white like the rest of the room. We are going to paint the room, probably a sand or light maple color. The only question is, what to do with the fireplace. Should we just leave it white? Is it possible and worth the trouble to get all the paint off brick? What would look best?

Now that I am tackling the rooms that are pentagons and other odd shapes (it's a weird house) I don't know at what angle to set the mitre saw when I make my cuts for the corner joins on the baseboard.

I am guessing I need to measure the angle where the walls meet, and then divide this in half?... is it the same procedure for both the inside and outside corners? And what tool do I use to measure the angle? I have a tool I used to draw a line on the laminate flooring on an angle but it does not give a reading in degrees.

Thanks!

Here is the stupid question of the night. I've never had this problem before. I was cleaning my bathroom and I left to go into the kitchen, closing the door behind me. I didn't know I had the knob in the lock position. It's just a regular old knob, it has two screws on either side. If I get a philips head screwdriver and unscrew them will the knob just fall off on each side, letting me unlock them and put them back together?

While updating the parents basement we needed to replace a very very old 3 way switch. However, the wiring to the Fluorescents seems extreme to me. Here is how i can describle the layout.
Panel - junction box - double splice (one to light fixture and one to threeway switch below it)-. From that threeway switch 12-3 wiring to upstairs landing with other threeway switch resides. How should I make my connections to switches? If the other swtiches were not so old I would just copy them.

especially major appliances. I moved my dishwasher and sprayed it down, good cleaned it up good, thought it was rid of bugs. When I went back and opened it up it was full of bugs and the next two times it was. I think it is clean now. In the mean time I have been killing bugs all over the house. Everytime I go to the new house I see at least one. There were none before. I still have a fridge, washer and dryer and computer and several tv sets and games to move. I can leave most of everything else. These appliance were bought this year and I cannot afford to buy new. Please help me!

I have an older Scotts riding mower that has the original 15x6.5-6.0 tires, which have rotted. I just went to Lowes and bought replacement wheel/tire sets, but they're 15x6.0-6.0.

I pulled the old wheels off and tried to slide the new wheels on and they don't fit on the axle. The hub hole is too small, won't go on.

Since the original size 15x6.5-6.0 tires are hard to find, I'm wondering if I can take the new 15x6.0-6.0 tires off of the new wheels and fit them onto my old 15x6.5-6.0 wheels. Will they fit?

By the way, what do all of those numbers indicate?
