You can forget all four of the previous answers. Your defrost drain is clogged and it might be because you have a sealed system problem and some of the coils are sweating and dripping down and refreezing. Get somebody handy to pull the back panel in the freezer out and see what is going on.

The reason this is happening is because there is a malfunction in the defrost part of your refrigerator . What you can do temporary is unplug the fridge for a few hours to let the ice melt in the freezer compartment and then plug back in and it will work fine until the coil in the freezer compartment begins to build ice again and flow of air is restricted . The problem is usually traced to one or more of the three components that make up the defrost (1) defrost timer , (2) defrost heater, or (3) defrost termination switch

2 separate issues could reason this project. the two the drain is constrained on the desirable (maximum probable), or on the backside of the hose (no longer likely). the different reason could be if the drain pan interior the freezer is plugged. If the drain pan hollow is frozen closed you would be getting water from the two vent holes interior the refig. desirable on the two factor close to the returned. If the drain is plugged the water would be from the middle of the returned wall. What maximum generally occurs something gets interior the drain cup interior the refrig. and initiate transforming into and plug the drain cup. The drain cup catches the water from the freezer defrost, passes it for the duration of the returned to the drain hose have been it runs right into a discomfort under th refig. the place it evaporates. To get entry to the drain cup whilst the refig controls are interior the returned of the refig., eliminate the easy conceal, eliminate the knobs, eliminate the administration conceal. The drain cup could be seen now. in case you do no longer see any screws preserving the drain cup in, it is going to tug quickly out. sparkling and replace. you ought to to run a sprint water by way of it after the drain cup is positioned returned in to make optimistic that is not any longer plugged at the back of the cup. a sprint bleach water will help shop it from plugging returned desirable away. If the drain pan is frozen interior the freezer, the finest project to do is unplug the refig., Open sales area doorways and waite till the water quites popping out the drain hose. this could take an afternoon or longer based how ice is equipped up under the conceal interior the freezer. good success

The best thing to do is to forget the other two answers and call someone who reliable in refrigeration, the freezer and the fridge are controlled by a separate thermostat, the one for the fridge could be bad, you very nicely forgot to say how old the fridge is. If more than 10-15 years forget about it and get a new one but I would have it checked first.

One easy thing to try that might help. Pull it out and vacuum around it. Also check the rubber seal. To do this put a dollar bill in between the doors( where the seal holds it ) and try to move it. It should not move easily.

Mine done this once and it was the fan motor. I removed the motor and lubricated it and replaced it and it took care of the problem. Check to see if it is running if not remove it and try the lubrication thing and make sure it is plug in well. If that doesn't help and it is not running you will need to order a new fan motor.
Good Luck

You may need a new door seal, around the fridge part. It sounds like warm air is leaking inside.
