The screw in the middle of the handle rotates both right and left and will cycle the water off and on, but won't come out to allow me to remove the handle. The faucet is probably about 10 years old.

whenever i take a shower it feels like im actually taking a bath! the water wont drain -- when the shower is going, all the water starts to fill up the tub as if im running bath water. it used to only happen once in a while, but now its become more frequent and the water actually gets pretty high. i tried using draino once before, but it was no good. any ideas on how i can stop this problem? thanks.

I am using a pressure washer but it doesn't seem to be enough to get the white oxidization off the siding. Is there a cleanser that anyone can recommend that will not ruin the pain but yet be strong enough to clean the siding as well as the aluminium gutters?

I want to be comfortable in my house but I don't want to pay a fortune doing it. I just had to pay $400 for electrical this month and I really didn't think I was hogging electricity.
