I found a great art deco mirror at a salvage store that has several stains on it. they kind of look like burn stains, somewhat. I've tried CLR and vinegar, but they don't come off. HELP!

As above!
It will be 2 blocks high and about 30 blocks around in an 'L' shape.
Can anyone in the trade or business etc, tell me please if this one is any good for building the raised garden bed, bearing in mind it will be filled with soil.

I really want a smooth faced one, but will it be as strong as the

And where can I get them cheaper and delivered?

We'll need about 80 of them.
We will be painting it with a Sandtex paint to make it look better.
Thanks in advance.

Last night the toilet backed up, the water nearly came right over the rim. We used a plunger but it only helped a bit. So my husband grabbed a couple of tools to go outside and see if he could open an access point thingy (thats a technical term) in the toilet downpipe As he approached it it suddenly exploded. Sewage shot into the air...i dont know how he didnt get covered in it. The pipe had exploded from a previous patch on the pipe. the toilet works now but there is sewage all over the back garden. Should we just reseal the pipe or do we need to get a plumber out?
I have to add....from my safe vantage point at the top of the stairs the exploding pipe was actually very funny....but what a mess!

The hole is on the bottom of my closet door where the nail and dowl used to be. The wood surrounding this area collapsed and slightly split it due to the weight of the closet door. I need a filler strong enough to hold the weight of the door but pliable enough so I can rescrew the nail and dowl into it. Is this even possible or do I have to buy a new door altogether?

The five step concrete staircase in front of our house is falling apart. Someone suggested building over it with wood, using the concrete as a guide. Has anyone done this? How? We don't know what type of wood to buy or how to stain it for outdoors.... we are basically looking for step-by-step instructions! Thanks!

I do laundry often. Espeically face & body towels usually the same day. But, I noticed since i moved into my new house that the towels never smell fresh. They keep this mildew odor and it's only on the towels. I use Tide w/Downy and Snuggle fabric softner and that still does not help. I'm wondering if it's something with my water. I moved earlier this year into a new constructed home/sub division. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hey everyone,

I have a condenser dryer thats about 6 and a half years old, but it doesn't smell very fresh on the inside - As far as I can tell its not extremely bad but its just not a fresh smell. I notice this most straight after it has finished drying but its also there after its been idle for a while.

Tumble dryer sheets don't make much difference, and ive done a full service on the machine (Cleaned all the lint etc. from the interior of the machine + the system as a whole) but the unfresh smell still remains; my main concern is that this smell is getting onto my washed clothes but im not sure.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do about this? maybe its normal? I don't know because ive never smelt anyone else's dryer :P

Thanks a lot!
Stephen.

We are renovating old large 16th century farmhouse with extremely poor insulations values. Anyone out there with advice on which may be more economical and pros and cons would be very helpful. LPG and home heating oil providers supply confusing contradictory advice.

Hello,

I was wondering are there any ways to get rid of the animal moles in my yard? They just dig and dig and they make my yard all pillow like.

.. and they make me grass all dead and I Don't know what to do. D:

It's interesting how the neighbor doesn't have anyway, but I do. He wons a lawn company, so one cold only assume his yard would be better then others. But h said, don't try, there are no ways to get rid of them, I didn't question why he has none.

I just think he doesn't what them to go in his "magical" lawn.. -.-'

Any help would be wonderful, thank you!

Loved my ADDI bottle-less water cooler because it fit under my cabinets on the counter, but it died after 5 years.
The manufacturer ADDICO seems to be out of business.

How can I get this fixed if there are no replacement parts?
UK is selling them, but will my US power cord work their model?
Or is there another UNDER CABINET, COUNTER-TOP WATER COOLER out there?

Okay I am doing an interior design projects with school.
Basically I have to redesign a room in my home.
I am wanting to put in a new fireplace and one with a real flame.
At the moment we have just an electric fire.
Could a fire with a real flame be put in?
If not what could be put in instead that looked traditional as the house is victorian.

Also how do i go about getting rid of the old fireplace and reinstalling a new one!

Thanks
