dryer makes sparks when i turn it on

always make sure that you have clean out the filter. make sure you have the right electric outlet.unplug and call a repairmen.
its is better to be safe then have your house burn down

Sparks are usually when the electrical current is jumping between broken or frayed wires. This is not a good thing. Fires could start. Call a repairman quick.

possible you have a short or broken wire or mabe the idoler pully worn down hitting the outer drum causeing sparking or broken points inside timmer or the drive moter could be going bad.

sounds like a bad wiring connection. Better to have an electrical person look at it(appliance repair, or other electrician, or handyman)

A short in the cords or wires so do not use it until it is checked or it could start a fire.
