I am getting ready to move out of my apartment and I am told they check with a black light for urine stains. I purchased a box of UrineGone and used its black light to find our yorkie left a few spots. The urinegone doesn't seem to work very well. Is there anything that will get the stains out...even under black light?

For a dog you can try another product or redo that one. You just may not have gotten all the urine out of the carpet. It may even take a dozen treatments depending on how much uring is there. Also, those black lights will show up anything, even stuff that isn't urine. So you might try other chemicals that are safe for rugs on it as well. For cats, they have oil based urine and I don't care what product is on the market, the only way to remove cat urine is to replace the rug. You can't get cat urine out because you can't get the oil that it leaves behind out.
