It's just a mild conditioning saline, but I'm afraid I might make my plant OD on the salt! Do you know if it will actually harm the plant?

I am painting new mdf cabinet doors and want a white paint that will have a good hard finish that dries smooth.
I'm priming the doors with BIN Primer Sealer (laquer based), several primer coats, sanding between each but don't know what paint to use for the finish coat.
I've tried a done some test pieces for thie finish coat with a foam roller:
-- tried Glidden Evermore interior semi-gloss latex - it dried smooth, looked nice but I can scratch the surface pretty easily with my finger nail;
-- tried Glidden Porch & Floor Polyurethane Oil - it dried to a nice hard finish but it is too shiny and not very smooth.
I know spray painting would be best but I don't have the skill for that.
Can someone please suggest a semi-gloss paint that will dry to a smooth hard finish?
Thanks!

I have a Craftsman garden tractor with a 18.5 V-twin Briggs. It sounds like its running at full throttle till I go over some grass, then It will bog down. I figured the govener needed adjusted, but upon inspection I noticed the arm didn't have extra slots like the old briggs L-heads. anyone know what the problem could be?

I've never actually used straw or even handled it, as far as I can remember. But I'm going to be using some soon, so I want some idea of what it's like. If you leave a small pile of it on the ground, will the wind blow it away? Does it have a lot of small particles in it, such that if you put it somewhere then move it, there will be a lot of dust and debris left behind, consisting of those small particles? Or is it all just clean neat dried stalks? If you want 20 or 50 or 100 cubic feet of straw, where would you buy it? Would you buy it from a farmer who grew it, or from a farm supply store, or where? And how much would you be likely to pay for it? Do farmers buy lots of straw, or do they mostly sell it?

Is there anyway to press a sunflower just like you would do to a flower like a rose inside of a book? Or anyway to preserve a sunflower?

Things like batteries, generators, bottled water and plywood which folks in Texas are now having the nerve to complain about stores running out of them?

Wouldn't it be a better idea to maintain a stash of these kinds of things in your attic so you wouldn't have to fight lines of 1a thousand people at Home Depot whenever there's a hurricane bearing down on you?

I transplanted them from my mother's garden - warned them if they didn't bloom I would hack down - this was in 5th year. They bloomed this year. I have cut off the dried flowers -- now what? Fertilize, work around base? I don't recall what Mom did but she was able to make anything bloom. I jus watered them til they finally bloomed. The same question applies for rhubarb -- do I fertilize, cut back wilted brown looking stalks? I have been unable to find answers to this dilemma in all my books!!! Thanks

My mom and dad own my Great Grandfathers house. It is in bad repair, and will be sold if possible. I am staying at my Gradmothers house for the week, and wanted to clean out the top floor (only two bedrooms), so I can go up there and get away from the world for a while.

The thing is, before my mom and dad got the house, my Grandmother rented it to a family. They had alot of pets, and never cleaned up the place after the pets. So, it kinda smells. It has been cleaned out and stuff, but if is very, how to say it, I guess, the air is thick, and still has that faint smell of animal. Is there a way to clean up the top floor so I don't have to smell it, or smell like it? There isn't any furniture, it was all taken out.

Hope worded it okay.

I believe it is a crab apple, but my dad insists that it is not. I want to make a jelly with it, so please let me know if they are crabapples, and if they are edible. If they aren't crabapples, can you please let me know what this is?

Anything you didn't think about when you were getting ready to move? Just basically looking to find out what to expect! Thanks a ton for any help! :)
