please give me it's common name or scientific name

it's said to be a mosquito repellent plant but i'm not so sure

It is either a European Ash or an American mountain ash. It look more to me like a European Ash (Rowan tree).

It appears you have an Ash. It is a tree that will require much room to grow. They flower and develop seed pods, so, they do well in a larger landscape(like far away in a forest) but not ideal for a smaller area.

Mosquito plant is a plant in a pot and what you have looks like a tree of some sorts.
