There are two screws, which you need to take out. Once you've taken them out pull the nob out of the door. There will be either a square hole or a almost round hole with a straight side to it, almost a half moon. Take a flat headed screwdriver or anything that will fit into the hole and turn it either direction to open the latch. If you do not a have Phillips and flat headed screwdriver, then it will be a slow process with a dinner knife.

Chances are, the lock is broken or the door has warped.
You may have to take everything apart with a screwdriver.
Sometimes it's not obvious, there may be a little part to push.
If you can get the knob off, slide the bolt back from the frame.
Another possibility is to remove the pins from the hinges.
You'll need a hammer & screwdriver or crow-bar.

Climb out the window. Then go to a locksmith and get them to come and repair the door.
