First: are you a renter? If so, call the management and tell what's happening: it's their property that's damaging their floor. If you are the homeowner, you'll have to do a little work: is the leak under a window? If so, you;ll have to go outside with the appropriate-length ladder and check the framing, flashing, etc. around the window, looking for gaps, etc., which will have to be caulked with 'Window/Flashing' exterior caulk. If the water is coming down a wall where's no window. look 'up' and see what's above the leaking area.

Anthony, start at the top of the roof-line, at some point the builder did not install flashing properly and it may be near the windows or at the floor base.
without proper flashing water will pour in like a river with a little wind behind it.

is there a window in the wall ? if so thats where it may be comming from, if not check out side ,to see if theres a hole in the wall,
you did not say if its a 2 story, 1 story, house, or if theres a window in the wall need more info
