i washed some of my black tee shirts with a pair of my black pants that had a piece of paper in the pocket [i didnt check them] and when my shirts came out of the dryer they had white stuff all over it.. like embedded in the cloth. after i washed them again and when i took them out of the dryer it still had it.. but this time it was way worse.. they now have like huge grey spots on them and they look awful. is there any thing i can do to get rid of this?

I have found the log cabin kit I want, and it's $27,500. It includes the logs, fastners, backer rods, blueprints, and log seal. The cabin and porch total 2,200 square feet. My bf, his dad, and my step-father and a few friends are going to help us build it. Has anyone built their own cabin? Does anyone know if we will have trouble getting a loan to "finish" the cabin? The thing is, I painted the ivy already up top in the room. So, I'm looking for a dainty little flower... Morning Glories may do (I'm not a huge flower person, but I'd like to be authentic)... but I'm using purple or maybe dusty rose (color) in the room.
Any simple flower that looks good with ivy will do!

Are you supposed to throw all of the big leftovers in the trachcan and just rinse your plate into the disposal part of the sink...or is it built for you to put ALL leftovers from meals into it? For instance, my daughter had a PB&J sandwich that was quartered. She maybe had 1/2. I let the disposal have the other half. Should I be putting stuff like that into the trashcan? I am afraid I have been over exerting the disposal...please let me know what you know. THANKS

It's a somewhat large outdoor fireplace, you know, the one with the stove top and chimney. We're cooking out tomorrow and I suck at starting fires... no logs, just planks (junk wood) and plenty of tinder and kindling. Help.

We planted them about 3 weeks ago, and right after we planted them we trimmed them up. At first they looked great, but now they're turning brownish and the leaves are curling up.

They are still at least 3/4 green, but the August heat has been brutal. I have started trying to water them every day, twice a day if I remember, but I'm wondering if I continue to water them really really well if I can save them? Is there a way to tell if they're too far gone? Is there any food or anything they need?

Someone please help of I'm going to lose 8 beautiful nice sized boxwood bushes!!! (They are about 3 feet diameter) Also, we live in Ohio.

In My Backyard i saw a Kiwi Brown Spider With Bright Orange legs Striped With black. And On Its Stomach It is all bright orande, Orange* with a black circle in the middle. And the black circle has two white stripes on it. And its about the size of a nickel or quarter. what should i do with it?

This is what happen. I have a pool in my backyard. The pervious owners broke a oval circle in the concrete to install the pool on the dirty instead of just installing it on top of the concrete. So I have a gap between the pool and the rest of the concrete. So when it rains the water just backs up in that gap instead of heading to the drains on both sides of the pool. Anyone know if I can fill that gap with rocks and hope the water will go towards the drains? If not rocks anyone have any ideas what I can do?

The porch was once covered by indoor/outdoor carpet, but it is now just nailed down sheets of new plywood. Can we just paint and seal it? Should we replace it with smaller wood planks? Any suggestion is appreciated!

I was cleaning the bathroom and must have gotten a little bleach on my black cotton shirt. Now there's a pink bleach stain right on the front. Since the shirt is pretty much ruined, as is, can I throw the shirt into the wash with bleach to change the color of the entire shirt? What will happen? Will it turn white? Pink? Has anyone ever tried this??

Usually I pull the plug from the wall but if i shut the switch off doesn't that take away the "Surge" protection and leave the equipment vulnerable to lightning and surges.What if I do nothing and leave the surge unit on and lit..Joe
