I've seen some items shrink only in one direction depending on the way the fabric is woven or how the blend it made. Cotton always shrinks a little even if it is pre shrunk!

RE:
If something is 65% polyester and 35% coton, will it shrink?

65-35 Poly-Cotton Towels for example may shrink as much as 15% especially if they are all cotton. The shrinkage generally occurs in the first five launderings and dryings. It is recommended to use a fabric softener when laundering to open up the fibers which reduces shrinkage and line dry (better for the environment & your hip pocket).

Good luck!

No, it will not shrink. But, if you dry it on high, it may melt the polyester a bit, which will cause it to become deformed and not hang properly.

Wash in cold water then allow to drip dry by placing on a hanger.
