I've seen some items shrink only in one direction depending on the way the fabric is woven or how the blend it made. Cotton always shrinks a little even if it is pre shrunk!

65-35 Poly-Cotton Towels for example may shrink as much as 15% especially if they are all cotton. The shrinkage generally occurs in the first five launderings and dryings. It is recommended to use a fabric softener when laundering to open up the fibers which reduces shrinkage and line dry (better for the environment & your hip pocket).

No, it will not shrink. But, if you dry it on high, it may melt the polyester a bit, which will cause it to become deformed and not hang properly.

Wash in cold water then allow to drip dry by placing on a hanger.

yes it can, wash in cold the first time or two, then go to warm water.
don't over dry either.

you are safe. If you want to be sure, just use warm wash and cold rinse, dry on medium or delicate.
