suddenly a lot of brown dog ticks are walking and climbing the walls and a hurricane is supposed to be headed for us. do you think it has something to do with it?

hmmm, curious. Maybe they sense air pressure changes, though it seems a bit early for the pressure changes. More likely additional moisture drives them up off lower plants so they don't drown and hopefully can ride out the storm attached to a nice warm blooded animal who has the sense to get out of the rain.

right now with us (where we live in the south) did not have a very cold winter, so it did not kill off the fleas and ticks, with this being said we are having more then we usually do this time of the year!!!

Use Adams on your pets you can get it from a VET, a CO-OP, or Wal Mart, Cheapest is wal mart. Spray your home, and treat your pets. You can treat your yard with sevens dust. Now not sure if they sense a storm or not, cause when they come here, we don't get them on walls and such.
