spandex shorts? They are 44% cotton, 44% polyester, and 12% spandex. They are a little too big and i was wondering if they would shrink in the wash.

You may try over drying them with extreme heat.To see if they will shrink in the dryer.Wash in hot water as well.Although your color may fade.

Probably not. Too little natural fiber in the mix. Washing in hot water may cause the spandex to loosen, not tighten.

Hot water and longer in the dryer might do it. If you are going to wash in hot water make sure you use a detergent that is meant to keep colors in so that they do not fade.
