I seen a bouquet of green roses mixed in with purple roses. Green is a nice colour on a rose, don't you think?

I was watching a friend of mine, who was doing hard wood installation for the first time, he used Hydrolic nailer with a noisy compressor, for each plank he was nailing 3 special nails into the groove of the plank, BUT when trying to insert the next raw, we noticed small gaps, even if you hit them with the hammer the gap want go away, the cause was that the nails inside the groove in first row where not fully flushed with the surface, by using a big nail and hammer we manually pushed those nails inside the groove, after that the gap disapeared and with little effort the second plank was fitting perfectly.
So where did we do the mistake, why the nailer didnt insert the nail deep enough??
Thanks for answers.

Hi, I am redoing my room to be a harry potter theme and I am tring to switch my lighting. I was hoping to go for a floating candle type thing and hanging them from the ceiling with wire and they are supposed to be non flamable by battery power. The thing is I dont know how to turn them on/off without going to each one and turning it off/on manually. If anyone knows how to hook them up to the light switch that would be great. Thanks. Bye.

I have this light green grass sprouting up throughout my yard. It doesn't grow in a group or clumps, but single stems spread out. The stems are much thicker than the rest of the grass and it grows tens times faster than my normal grass (it towers over the normal grass). My mother said it was water grass but I looked up pictures on the web and couldn't find anything that matched. I did research grass weeds and nothing that looks like what I got growing. Any ideas or suggestions to steer me in the right direction to get rid of it. Also any ideas on how to get rid of milkweed (I think that is what it is?) I am having problems with that too. Thanks in advance!!!

Just bought a house. Made awesome deal. But there is only one problem that hardwood floors are in very bad condition; I mean it needs polish very badly. I don’t know how many years ago they polished it last time. After paying for 20% down for the house and appliances the budget is very tight, so I thought that my husband and me should do it by our self. I know we can do it. So guys please help. Give me some links to get info how to do it? And need tips from your experience too. And for supplies, HOME DEPOT or WHAT? What is the best store for supplies? Thanks a lotttttttt in advance. 5 star promise for help. But more then that, my blessings for you all.

Haha, okay...well im redoing my bedroom as "the beach" and I need some major ideas. I'm a teen and most of the things i've seen have looked "too old". I was thinking of using a navy comforter that my grandma made. its beautiful. and painting the walls light blue? I'm not sure. I really like shells and the color blue and fish and things of that sort. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for items that would look nice in a Beach Themed bedroom for a teenager, but i can't find anything. If you have any ideas PLEASE let me know. Thank you! God Bless. <3

We purchased a small houseplant at a local craft show. The lady that we bought it from called it a sensitivity plant. It looks like a fern, but if you touch it anywhere the fern part of the plant closes up. Also, when the sun goes down, all of the ferns close up tight. In the morning, they are all reopened again. It's starting to get tall (approx. 12 inches). We were just wondering what the proper name is for this plant and how tall it will get. If repotted, will it continue to get taller? It's really a fasinating plant, and everyone that comes to visit has to touch it to see it close up.

I tell mine if they want to keep their stuff then it shouldn't be crammed somewhere or in the floor. I go through with a trash bag and we take it to goodwill at the end of the month.
