I need something wireless that I can put in my shed to tape whats going around at my pool that I can monitor from my computer. My neighbor kids are putting dog poop in my pool and I want to catch them on tape doing it.

I have a jwin monitor and camera and it says you can hook it to your vcr using one of those red and yellow cords but I tried that and I couldnt get it to record. Anyone know what Im doing wrong??

Wal-Mart has a good range of video cameras for your use, they range from about $40.00 to $115.00 and come anyway you want. The one Like is the infra red switch my sister bought, it takes pics up to 600 feet and is wireless, comes with the monitor and in color but rather expensive.
Where you are, don't you have to have a locking gate? a six foot fence to keep kids out? I would talk to him first, then call the police, then call an attorney, get them trespassed by the cops, then you can sue for trespassing.

Hook your camera up to your vcr. Put your TV on the channel you use for watching things from your VCR. Be sure the TV and VCR are in the VCR mode. Put the VCR on channel two and then channel surf down. You should find it within 3 or 4 channels, Providing that you have left your TV on the VCR recieving channel.

Try hooking up one of those Baby Monitors cameras and hook it to a video tape recorder. I would invite them over to go swimming and put the big guy in charge and give him special treatment, Like deciding what everybody gets on their pizza(Oh Yeah Buy a pizza or two) and what kinda pop they get, You will win them over allot cheaper them buying a camera and making someone pay the damages and have some punk enemies hating you. The big kid will tell on the other to protect his pizza privileges and so on.

I would go to a pawn shop and buy and old video camera.Set it to record and tape the action. You'll have to change the tape every hour or so, but it would be worth it.
Maybe even hook it up to a VCR and tape for 6 hours at a time.
